Course Details
KSM is the first institute in India to introduce this course.This course allows for the examination of patterns in myriad healthcare data to determine how clinical care can be improved while controlling excessive spending. The term healthcare analytics is used to describe the healthcare analysis activities undertaken because of data collected from 5 major areas – Claims and Cost Data, Pharmaceutical and R&D Data, Clinical Data, Patient Behaviour and Sentiment Data, and Retail Purchases (including data captured in running stores).
Health Care Analytics is a 6-trimester course –the first semester consists of core management papers and the other five trimesters consists of two core plus specialisation papers. After the successful completion of this two-year program, a PGDM in Healthcare Analytics will be awarded to the students by KSM.
Healthcare industry experts from India and US conducts this program.The program contains the regular MBA courses covering Finance, HR,Marketing, Operations, CRM, associated with Healthcare management leadership. During the program students will visit US for 15 days to get industrial as well as academic exposure with a US university.
